LED lights are light emitting diodes, which use solid semiconductor chips as luminescent materials. Compared with traditional lighting fixtures, LED lights are energy-saving, environmentally friendly, have good color rendering and response speed.
(1) Energy saving is the most prominent feature of LED lights
In terms of energy consumption, LED lamps consume one-tenth of incandescent lamps and one-quarter of energy-saving lamps. This is one of the biggest features of LED lights. Nowadays, people advocate energy conservation and environmental protection, and it is precisely because of this characteristic that LED lights have a wide range of applications, making them very popular.
(2) It can operate in a high-speed switch state
We usually walk on the road and find that every LED screen or image is unpredictable. This indicates that LED lights can operate at high speeds. However, for the incandescent lamps we usually use, this working state cannot be achieved. In daily life, excessive switching can directly cause the filament of an incandescent lamp to break. This is also an important reason for the popularity of LED lights.
(3) Environmental protection
LED lamps do not contain any heavy metal materials such as mercury inside, but fluorescent lamps do, which reflects the environmental protection characteristics of LED lamps. Nowadays, people attach great importance to environmental protection, so more and more people are willing to choose environmentally friendly LED lights.
(4) Fast response speed
Another prominent feature of LED lights is their fast response speed. As soon as the power is turned on, the LED light will immediately light up. Compared to the energy-saving lamps we usually use, their reaction speed is faster. When turning on traditional light bulbs, it often takes a long time to illuminate the room, and only after the bulbs have completely heated up can they light up.
(5) Compared to other light sources, LED lights are "cleaner"
The so-called "clean" does not refer to the cleanliness of the surface and interior of the lamp, but rather the fact that the lamp belongs to a cold light source and does not generate too much heat, and does not attract insects that prefer light and heat. Especially in summer, there are a lot of insects in rural areas.
Some insects are naturally fond of heat, and after using incandescent and energy-saving lamps for a period of time, they will generate heat, which is exactly what insects like and easily attracts them. This undoubtedly brings a lot of pollutants to the surface of the lamp, and the excrement of insects can also make the interior very dirty. However, LED lights are cold light sources that do not attract insects, so they do not produce insect waste. So, LED lights are more "clean".
